Employers: Payment and Reporting During COVID-19 Closure
Paid sick and family leave under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) leave is considered compensation for SERS’ purposes. Please report contributions and days for paid FFCRA leave.
During the COVID-19 school closure, receipt of contribution reporting and payment in a timely manner are still of the utmost importance to ensure member account accuracy. Please continue to report and pay on time.
In accordance with Ohio law, SERS has suspended the contribution reporting and payment due dates for all pay dates until the earlier of either the expiration of Executive Order 2020-01D, or July 30, 2020.
