Open Enrollment for 2026 Has Ended

Open enrollment is the time for SERS retirees to review their premiums and benefits for the upcoming plan year. Plan changes, when applicable, can be made during this period.

Below are changes for 2026:

2026/2027 Dental and Vision Plans

The monthly premiums increased, but rates will not change during the two-year enrollment period. Dental and vision plan benefits remain the same.

Fall 2027 will be the next opportunity for eligible benefit recipients to enroll in or cancel dental and vision coverage.

2026 Aetna Medicare Plan (PPO)

The monthly premiums were reduced by $20 a month for all enrollees. Plan benefits and pharmacy co-pays remain the same.

2026 Aetna Choice POS II and AultCare PPO

Full premiums increased by 3% for Aetna Choice POS II and 4% for AultCare PPO.  Benefits and pharmacy co-pays remain the same.

SERS’ Marketplace Wraparound Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)

The HRA limit increased to $2,200 per family per calendar year from $2,150.
