End of School Year Reminders for Employers
Employer Services is here to make sure all SERS employers are able to close out fiscal year 2026 with ease.
Here are a few helpful steps to wrap up the 2026 school year:
- Verify that your coaches and supplemental employees do not have any missing service days or hours. To add any missing days and hours: https://www.ohsers.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/EMP-7033-How-To-Adjust-Days-and-Hours.pdf.
- Upload dock or adjustment files to eSERS to fix any overpayments made to employees’ accounts.
- Extend any payroll schedules you are using. If there is a schedule you are no longer using, but it has pending pay dates, reach out to Employer Services to remove the extra dates: https://www.ohsers.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/EMP-7003-How-To-Extend-a- Payroll-Schedule.pdf.
- Update the Contacts/Web User Maintenance application when adding new Web Users or terminating those who have left your district. Only the Employer Web Administrator has permission to manage users. - Has your school moved or changed its mailing address? If your school’s address has changed, notify Employer Services. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to Employer Services at 1-877-213-0861.
