Newsletter and Payment Stub Now Being Mailed Twice a Year
Beginning August 1, 2022, retirees and benefit recipients will start receiving the Retiree Focus newsletter and their payment stub two times a year.
The Retiree Focus and payment stub, which were previously mailed quarterly, will now now be sent twice a year, once in January and once in July. Additionally, whenever there is a change to the benefit, a payment stub and an insert containing any necessary information will be mailed.
Retirees and benefit recipients will not receive a Retiree Focus or payment stub in September or December, but will continue to receive their payment each month. This will not affect payments.
The Retiree Focus will still contain important information and dates, but will offer more comprehensive articles along with special features and savable cut-out sections, including the monthly payment schedule. It also will be available electronically as an email.
Retirees and benefit recipients will receive email updates in April and October containing SERS news. If we do not have your email address, you can update it via Account Login.
