Person ID Acceptable on Nominating Petition Form

If you were asked to sign a Nominating Petition Form for an employee- or retiree-member, you may have noticed that we ask for the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN).

We request this information to confirm that those signing the form are members of SERS.  However, if you do not feel comfortable entering the last four digits of your SSN, we will also accept your SERS Person ID. Your SERS Person ID can be located on your quarterly check stub or member statement.
