Have You Been Contacted by SERS About Medicaid Eligibility? If So, You Need to Take Action

Recently, we began mailing letters to non-Medicare health care plan enrollees who may be affected by a recent SERS rule change. The letter discusses their eligibility for Medicaid and SERS’ health care coverage.

Most non-Medicare enrollees will not be affected by this change. However, if you do receive a letter from SERS asking you to call HealthSCOPE Benefits, it is important that you do so.

Those who receive this letter but take no action, risk having their SERS medical and prescription drug coverage cancelled.

Again, you will only receive the letter if you are affected by the rule change.
